Using PlantFile Online

PlantFile Online currently contains over 3,580 plant species and over 5,200 cultivars from both the southern and northern hemispheres, accompanied by 14,000 photographs.  It allows you to sort, select and identify commonly used plants, as well as common pests and diseases and their treatment. PlantFile operates on all web browsers and platforms.

From the

STEP 1 - Go to the Library homepage - http://www.cqu.edu.au/library. Click on DATABASES.

STEP 2 - click on P for a list of databases with titles beginning with P.

STEP 3 - Click on Plantfile in the list

STEP 4 - Click on Institutional Users Only ENTER HERE (down the bottom of the screen on the right)
