Open Access Publication Scheme

You can avoid paying Article Processing Charge (APC's) by applying for CQUniversity's Open Access Scheme.

This scheme provides up to $3000 AUD to cover article processing charges for eligible publications with Quartile 1 (Q1) Rankings. 

You can select eligible Open Access Q1 journals and gather evidence like Citescores opens in a new window for your application using SCIMago opens in a new window.

Quartile Rankings

These measure the influence of journals by the number of citations received and the prestige of the journals where the citations come from. SJR's are broken into 4 Quartiles, Q1 being the highest.

Citescores

Are a new standard that gives a more comprehensive, transparent and current view of a journal's impact. SCIMago opens in a new window offers a Total Cites (Citescore) spanning 3 years, as well as a range of other metrics.
