Document Delivery

A guide to document delivery services for researchers and research higher degree students.

Please note

Document Delivery has been impacted by limitations around access to physical resources from other Libraries due to COVID-19.

Where possible, the Library will continue to supply an electronic rather than physical item.

Document Delivery Services for Researchers

In addition to the purchase of indexing and full text databases, CQUniversity Library supports CQUniversity researchers by providing an Interlibrary Loan & Document Delivery Service which aims to provide researchers with access to the information sources they need, including items which the Library does not hold.

Items are supplied from within Australia or if necessary from overseas. Some items are supplied as loans, while others are supplied as copies you can keep.

Document Delivery is funded by Researchdoc, which is supported by University research funds.

Eligible researchers include:

  • full-time and part-time academic staff who contribute to the research output of Central Queensland University
  • students enrolled in a higher degree research program, PhD, EdD, Doctor of Business, Masters by Research or Professional Doctorate.

Students enrolled in undergraduate, honours and coursework masters programs should discuss their needs with the relevant Librarian or Campus Manager. Where suitable material can not be located in the collection, a document delivery request may be approved.
