Document Delivery

Document Delivery is a Library service that provides researchers with access to resources, such as books and journal articles, that are not in the CQUniversity Library collections.

Items are supplied from within Australia where possible, or if necessary, from overseas. Some items are supplied as inter-library loans, while others are supplied as copies you can keep.

Researchers who are eligible for this service include:

• full-time and part-time academic staff who contribute to the research output of Central Queensland University
• students enrolled in a higher degree research program, PhD, EdD, Doctor of Business, Masters by Research or Professional Doctorate.

Students enrolled in undergraduate, honours and coursework masters programs will need to speak with the Library’s Resources Team Leader about requesting full text articles by emailing my-librarian@cqu.edu.au

Please submit one form per item and include full citation details e.g.

• For books: Full names of authors/editors, publication year, book title, and publisher name and location
• For journal articles: Full names of authors, publication year, article title, journal title, and volume, issue and page numbers.

The completed form is automatically sent to the library.

Most Document Delivery requests are filled within 5-10 days. Speed of delivery is affected by the location of the supplying library and whether or not the item is currently on loan. Items that are difficult to locate may take several weeks.

Please note: Document Delivery has been impacted by limitations around access to physical resources from other Libraries due to COVID-19.
