Introduction

CQUniversity Library has a rich collection of electronic journals, e-books, print books, DVDs and other items selected to support the learning, teaching and research programs of the University.

Join the Library

All staff and students are automatically registered as members of the Library.

Students
Your student card is also your Library card.

Staff
Please enquire at your campus to have a Library card issued.

Alumni
Graduates of CQUniversity can apply for membership for the current 12 month period at no charge. Please apply at your local campus. Photo ID and confirmation of address is required.

Community members
Membership for the current 12 month period is available at no charge, however restrictions apply. Please apply at your local campus. Photo ID and confirmation of address is required.

Students and staff from other universities
If your host institution is a partner to the University Libraries Australia and New Zealand (ULANZ) Borrowing Scheme opens in a new window you are welcome to become a member at any of our CQUniversity campus libraries. Proof of enrolment/employment and photo ID is required.

Items may be renewed provided they have not been requested by another client.

Borrowing from other campuses

If the item you need is on loan or at another CQU campus, staff and students can request items from other campuses or place holds on items that are currently on loan.  

  • Go to Library Search
  • Search for the item
  • Click on 'request this item' and complete the form
  • You will be contacted when the item becomes available.
